The Zetec Surf-X Eddy Current Array Probe provides high-quality results with more accuracy than traditional handheld probes. This eddy current probe also operates in absolute and multiple modes of driver pickup. The rotatable encoder, standard, provides identification of flaw locations and dimensions with ease, and the position indicators of the probe ensure that the entire interest area is inspected.
Surf-X T & Butt Weld Probe
The T & Butt Weld Probe is perfect for applications on high crown T & Butt welds. The handles are designed to make inspections a breeze. The +point™ coils find indications in hard-to-inspect weld toes while the array coils inspect the remaining weld and heat affected zones.
Surf-X Flex Array Probe
The Flex Array Probe is the ideal probe for inspecting train wheels, airplane skins, and mining equipment. This flexible probe allows for detailed inspection on all materials and many geometries, replacing more traditional handheld probes.
Differing materials and surface geometries at inspection site pose no obstacle thanks to the easily adapting coil sets, which are also field interchangeable. The user can preset test configurations and revise filters to optimize results. The Surf-X eddy current probe is a chemical-free, and cost-effective, replacement for Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). The surface array option can reduce inspection time by up to 95% in comparison to more traditional pencil probes.
