Rental Package includes:
The Berg rental NewSonic SonoDur2 UCI Hardness Tester comes in a variety of packages and we will match the handheld or motorized probe you need with the hardness testing you are performing. The SonoDur2 is the latest UCI hardness tester and is a replacement for the GE MIC 10 and MIC 20 series. The SonoDur2 uses a Vickers diamond for rapid hardness testing and can be applied in a vareity of hardness applications including manufacturing, quality assurance and production. EN ISO 18265 material tables come with the unit. Meets ASTM A1038. The Vickers diamonds testing pressure is digitally displayed and refreshed after each measurement.
The SonoDur2's intuitive menu system enables reassessments for other hardness scales and adheres to other applicable standards or the particular probe in use. The unit also features recognition and test controls with calibration, material reassessment table, time of probe penetration, operator name and tolerance thresholds.
Wide-range testing ability: The SonoDur2 makes it possible to measure soft aluminum (20HB) to harder metals (approx. 1600HV) using a probe.
The SonoDur2 can work with probes ranging in force from 1N to 100N, as well as longer probes for testing areas that are difficult to reach.
Integrated memory: The unit comes with 4GB of memory (can be expanded to 32GB) to offer enough storage space to store an almost limitless number of measurements. Transmitting data can be accomplished via USB making documentation simple and easy. The unit can also connect through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
