The Bruker Q2 ION Ultra-Compact Spare OES Metals Analyzer is one of the smallest and lightest ultra-compact Optical Emission Spectrometer for metals analysis available. Besides the classical "analysis workflow," the new Q2 ION now also offers a dedicated workflow for Positive Material Identification (PMI), especially useful for incoming material testing and quality control of metal alloys. The Q2's primary applications and metal matrices include copper, aluminum, and iron along with being able to analyze a variety of metal alloys. The Q2 ION is best suitable at smaller foundries, inspection companies, metal recycling, and metal fabricators.
VERSATILE AND EASY TO USE
This analyzer is so lightweight that it can be hand-carried to sites. The new generation of Q2 ION is a versatile multi-matrix system for comprehensive incoming material inspection and quality assurance of metal alloys. An affordable price and low operational costs make this spectrometer the ideal tool for smaller and medium-size businesses.
PATENTED OPTICAL SYSTEM
The Q2 ION contains a state of the art flat field CCD optics. The Active Ambient Compensation (AAC) provides users with stability when used in a temperature range from 10°C to 45°C (50° to 113°F). When combining the CCD detector with ClearSpectrum technology, the Q2 ION provides the best analytical performance.
ELEMENTAL SUITE
The controller of the Q2 ION now runs ELEMENTAL SUITE, the new hard- & software platform for Bruker Elemental analyzers. The ELEMENTAL SUITE utilizes Intuitive Windows-based software and offers simple, routine operation. This software also includes an analysis database and interfaces to MS Office Grade Library functions.
