The DeFelsko PosiTector SST Soluble Salt Tester measures the concentration of soluble salts on metal surfaces and is ideal for determination of water-soluble contaminants in non-metallic blast media. This gage's 1-2-3 interface guides the user through the Bresle test method. The PosiTector SST displays test duration, sample temperature, conductivity (µS/cm), and surface density (mg/m2 or µg/cm2). When performing multiple tests, the automatic storage of background measurement comes in handy. The PosiTector SST also features a high-contrast backlit display, a flip display for right-side-up-viewing, and a certified conductivity standard to verify the probe's accuracy. The conductivity probe is specifically designed for ISO 8502-6,9. This gage also conforms to ISO 8502-6/8502-9, US Navy NSI 009-32, US Navy PPI 63101-000, AS 3894.6, IMO MSC.215(82), IMO MSC.244(83), SSPC Guide 15, ISO 11127-6, and ASTM D4940 standards.
PosiTector gages have two body options, standard and advanced. Standard models can store or download up to 1000 readings per probe and Advanced models can store or download up to 250,000 readings in up to 1,000 batches and sub-batches. A variety of kits are available to assist in retrieving and analyzing soluble salts on surfaces. Choices in Kit include the PosiPatch Kit, Adhesive Patch Kit, and the Latex Adhesive Patch Kit. A Flexible Magnetic Ring can be substituted for the Standard Magnetic Ring at no extra charge.
