New Sonic now offers Standard Handheld Hardness Measurement Probes that are compatible with GE's MIC10 and MIC20 hardness testers. These probes can be adapted later to work with the SonoDur line of hardness testers, including the SonoDur 2, SonoDur 3 and SonoDur-R with an exchange of electronics and plug.
Choosing NewSonic MIC10/MIC20 probes will extend the working life of your MIC10 or MIC20 hardness tester while also protecting your future investment in NewSonic equipment. Probes ship with connection cable.
Larger Probe Size Offers Better Control & Measurements
NewSonic's MIC10/MIC20 probes are slightly larger than the original GE MIC10 probes, making them easier to hold and safer to operate. The larger probe diameter also allows for better control with less transmission force, even at higher test loads. Measurement deviations due to inclined placement on surfaces can also be reduced.
High Data Integrity and Protection Against Probe Outage
Less susceptible to damage when plugging or unplugging the probe.
Probe Cable Connector is on the Side
NewSonic designed its MIC10/MIC20 compatible probes to be side-connected for better measurements, making them less likely to generate defects.
Compatible with SonoDur Line of Test Stands
The NewSonic probes for MIC10/MIC20 work with the precision, and magnetic precision test stands made for the SonoDur line of probes.
