NewSonic Short Barrel Handheld UCI Hardness Measurement Probe Long Version (NS-SLONG-HH-PROBE)

The Short Barrel Long Handheld UCI Probes from New Sonic are ideal for general, handheld testing procedures for production, maintenance and quality assurance in applications where space is at a premium. The long version of the Short Barrel Handheld Probe enables you to reach difficult measurement positions. The probe is meant for challenging material geometries such as at the base of gear teeth or similar. The Short Barrel Long Handheld probe is 177 mm in length, with its counterpart measuring 209.8 mm.

NewSonic's Short Barrel and Regular Long Handheld Probes are reliable and provide accurate measurements for hardness testing. The material's hardness is tested using the Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI) method. Measurements include the entire range of the traditional Vickers hardness scale. These probes can measure hardness on metal, industrial ceramic and, depending on the circumstance, highly heterogeneous materials, such as cast iron (spheroidal graphite cast iron GGG50). 

Ensure you have a probe for every hardness application you may have with your SonoDur 3. The Short Barrel Long Handheld Probes expand the capabilities of the SonoDur3 as well as the Sonodur2 and SonoDur-R 'Rack' and can be setup with most devices using a standard USB interface.
