The NewSonic Sono-PS-1 precision test stand, when compared to manual testing, improves the speed and accuracy of hardness testing. Multiple handles allow the user to set the height at the precise level required based on the samples being tested. A positioning collar prevents potentially damaging contact between the probe and samples by setting a minimal height.
