The MarSurf PS 10 from Mahr is an effective roughness measuring instrument designed for mobile use. The unit comes with a 4.3" TFT smart touch screen display to allow for ease-of-use and operability. The unit has 31 roughness parameters, has a list of 'favorite' functions in the display, and will allow you to bring laboratory performance anywhere you need roughness testing.
The MarSurf PS 10 weighs one pound and the unit's display will allow you to measure at any angle - horizontally, vertically or upside down. For stationary roughness measurements, the unit can be mounted on a measuring stand.
The MarSurf PS 10 has a patented automatic cutoff selection to ensure correct measuring results. You can also select individual sampling lengths and shorted cutoffs. The drive unit can be removed from the MarSurf PS 10 so it can be operated separately from the display, increasing its flexibility of use. The drive also has a feature to support measurement of small diameter parts.
Additional probes can be added to the unit to measure gears and deep measuring points or bores.
The battery has enough power for taking 1,200 measurements and can be recharged in under two hours. Measurement data can be saved directly in the device in TXT, X3P, CSV or PDF formats with no additional software.
The integrated and removable calibration standard ensures you can make measurements without any errors. Data can be stored on a microSD-Card and transmitted via a USB interface to a PC or wirelessly with the added Mahr eStick.
