The Synergys LeakShooter® LKS1000-V2T+IR Ultrasonic Leak Detector is the latest version of the V2+IR LeakShooter designed to find leaks for compressed air, gas, and vacuum equipment with a thermal camera. 

Ultrasonic Industrial Imager

The LeakShooter LKS-1000-V2T+IR industrial ultrasonic imager can now be used to inspect compressed air, gas, and vacuum equipment. It can also assist with steam trap monitoring, bearing monitoring, electrical applications like partial discharge, corona effects, punctured isolators, and electrical tracking detection. Ergonomically designed, the lightweight LeakShooter V2T+IR can store up to 1,000 images and last up to 5 hours on a single charge. 

Thermal Camera with Point & Shoot Technology

When pointed at a potential leak, a dynamic yellow target appears on the colored LCD 5.7" 640 x 480-pixel screen. When the source of the leak is detected, the target turns red and shrinks as it hones in its specific location. To record the leak, take a picture by pressing the camera button. Each photo shows the recorded decibels, flow rate, estimated annual cost of the leak, and LEAKSCORE indicating the severity of the leak. Each photograph is numbered, dated, and time-stamped. Traditional listening methods for leaks also work with the LeakShooter V2T+IR by using the supplied professional headphones that plug directly into the unit.

The thermal camera (160 x 120 pixels with 50 mK sensitivity) records the temperature of the leak and its surrounding apparatus. Emissivity is adjustable with the up and down arrows on the unit. Pictures of thermal images can be named and saved with the virtual keyboard.

The LeakShooter LKS1000-V2T+IR is easy to operate. To use, just film, view, and photograph the precise location where compressed air, steam, pressurized gas, or vacuums are leaking. The LeakShooter V2T+IR will be able to locate leaks with a dynamic, white circular target on its display along with a colored circle and cross to indicate the leak severity. Each photo shows the recorded decibels, flow rate, estimated annual cost of the leak, and LEAKSCORE indicating the severity of the leak. Each picture is numbered and date and time stamped for ease of documentation. Traditional methods of listening for leaks also work with the LeakShoot V2T+IR by using the supplied professional headphones that plug directly into the unit.

Highly Sensitive

The LeakShooter LKS1000-V2T+IR works at a distance of 30+ yards (20 meters) and can detect leaks no bigger than the size of a syringe. Leaks can be detected in all industrial environments thanks to the ability to adjust the gain on the device to filter out ambient noise. 

Easy Uploads

Photos can be uploaded directly onto a PC via a supplied USB cable and can be readily attached to your inspection reports. A USB cable is included with the purchase.
