The Labino Galaxy LED Overhead Mid-Light - Mother Unit is a lightweight overhead bench light consisting of 12 UV LEDs and 1 white LED with a dimmer, timer and remote control. It is 100% UV-B free and gives off virtually no visible light thanks to its visible light filter. Weighing in at 4.85 lbs (2.2 kgs), the Labino Galaxy LED Overhead Bench is easy to mount and operate for all day use.

The modular design and ability to connect to other units makes it easier to cover larger areas during an inspection. The midlight has an intensity of 7,000 μW/cm^2.

Included with the Mother Kit is a power cord, power supply unit (100-240 VAC), remote control, Galaxy control unit, wall bracket (for power supply), DC power cord, “L” bracket (for Galaxy control unit and base unit), UV goggles, 4 chains for mounting, 4 eye bolts for mounting and the Galaxy base unit.

It complies with ASTM UV-A intensity and wavelength specifications for FPI and MPI and is IP65 approved.

The Labino Bench Light Galaxy is part of a new generation of products that Labino is introducing to the market. These unique new lights have one common characteristic; they weigh less, than many comparable products in the market today. Galaxy weighs just 2.2 kilos (4.85 lbs)! It is not just easy to mount. It is easy for the user of the bench to operate and move around the bench. Bench operators typically contact repetitive inspections for long hours on a daily basis. Now they have the luxury of working with a super light product. Galaxy is also compact in size with 7.87 inches long, 5.9 inches wide and 1.6 inches high. The user can choose to expand the area that wants to cover by connecting together up to six Galaxy lights (72 LEDs). Galaxy offers an intensity of 7 000 μW/cm2 at 38 cm and the diodes emit almost no visible light - 1 Lux / 0.09 Foot Candle (380-780 nm).

Each Galaxy consists of 12 LEDs offering a very even beam. It is also equipped with a white light LED for after inspection.

Full power is achieved instantly with the start button. The Galaxy is 100% free from UV-B and the LEDs emit almost no visible light due to a visible light filter. It is compliant with ASTM UV-A intensity and wavelength specifications for FPI and MPI. IP65 approved for dust and water jetting proof.
