The Zetec ElbowFlex Scanner is ideal for fast, handheld ultrasound inspections of pipe elbows. The ElbowFlex is perfect for detecting and measuring different flaw types such as corrosion pitting, mid-wall lamination, and remaining wall thickness.
Designed for both straight and elbow (bend) applications, a single phased array probe on the ElbowFlex will work with pipes from 4" Nominal Pipe Size (4.5") to flat. The ElbowFlex offers single-handed button operation, magnetic wheels, an aqualene membrane and provides 100% coverage confidence while saving inspection time and operating costs.
A single, flexible phased array probe allows easy inspection adaptation to the specimen's dimensions and complete concentric analysis. The C-Scan images are easily encoded and interpreted via Ultravision Touch software,
Featuring Zetec's industry-leading phased array technology, the ElbowFlew works in conjunction with all TOPAZ systems, saving data in high resolution.
