    Description

ECONOgel™ is the Echo Ultrasonics most economical water soluble NDT ultrasonic couplant. It is completely salt stable, glycerin and silicone free and comes in a medium viscosity.

ECONOgel™ ER (Extended Range) is also highly economical and water soluble, but has a low freezing point, slow evaporation rate and high operating range. ECONOgel ER is suitable for most metals, plastics and composites, and has good ferrous corrosion inhibition.

    Features

    • CONOgel’s reduced surface tension provides fast wetting.
    • ECONOgel is glycerin and silicone free.
    • ECONOgel has good ferrous corrosion inhibition and is compatible with most metals, plastics and composites.
    • ECONOgel is completely salt stable. It will not thin with corrosion salts, marine environments or highway infrastructure subjected to de-icing salts.
    • ECONOgel ER has a slower evaporation rate at ambient to elevated temperatures and a broader operating range.
    • Environmental and operator friendly. No formaldehydes or nitrates or nitrites.
    • Removal: Wash with water or wipe with paper or cloth rag before couplant dries. If couplant has dried, pressure wash or use brush and running water.
