The Sensor Networks SensorScan DHT 400 Ultrasonic Transducer measures remaining wall thickness on rough metal ID and OD surfaces due to corrosion or erosion. The transducer has a wide operating temperature range and can run continuously from 0 to 400°F (-17.8 to 204°C). It can also operate at 50% of its duty cycle at an even greater range of 0 to 932°F (-17.8 to 500°C). The DHT 400 operates at a nominal 5 MHz and features a 5° delay roof angle (10° included).
Typical Applications
The DHT 400 is designed for inspections with standard digital thickness gauges or flaw detectors on boiler/furnace tubes, pipes, tanks, vessels, structures and other safety-critical components at power plants, refineries, oil & gas assets and structures, and chemical facilities.
Compatibility
The DHT 400 is compatible with the following thickness gauges 38DL PLUS, 37DL PLUS, 36DL PLUS, DMS GO and All Flaw Detectors.
Kits, Connector Types & Cables
The DHT 400 comes as a standalone transducer, as a kit with a standard Lemo-00 cable, and features two different connector types, a microdot #10-32 (x2) or an MCX (x2). The transducer can also work with a variety of standard or armored cables.
