DayCor® Scalar is a handheld UV corona camera designed to complete indoor electrical inspections. Scalar is a non-destructive testing (NDT) instrument used for measuring conditions of both HV and MV electrical systems and finding flaws associated with partial discharges. DayCor® Scalar features a removable flash card for storing video clips and still pictures. You can view stored media on the camera's LCD screen or an external monitor via a mini USB drive.

The camera's 4.3" transmissive LCD with a high backlight of 600 nits and 800x480 px resolution displays crisp, vivid images of inspected areas.
