Sonotech High Temperature Couplants

Sonotech manufactures a wide variety of couplants for flaw detection, thickness gaging, flow metering, and acoustic emission testing at extreme temperatures. Some of the products in this category have proven themselves for over 30 years. We have listed below the primary features of each of our High Temperature Couplants.

NO PERFLUOROCARBONS -- When overheated, perfluorocarbons (such as PTFE) release gases that cause "polymer fume fever", a flu-like illness that can last for 24 hours or more. Sonotech couplants do not contain perfluorocarbons.

VISCOSITY: Viscosity, or thickness, of couplants is noted by a grade (GR) following the name of the couplant. The lower the number, the lower the viscosity.
