Wilson Hardness was founded in 1920 and is owned by Buehler.  Wilson specializes in hardness testing and is a worldwide leader in over 40 countries.

Wilson uses a variety of hardness testing methods including Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, and Knoop hardness testing based on the different qualities of the material being tested. Each operates basically the same.  The device indents a test piece and then the indentation is measured to give a hardness reading.
